In his book ‘Power vs Force’, David Hawkins calibrates people’s emotions from levels 20 up to 1000. 20 being Shame which is perilously proximate to death. It’s destructive to emotional and psychological health, and makes us prone to physical illness.

At the other end of the scale at 700- 1000 is enlightenment. This is the level of the Great Ones such as Krishna, Buddha and Jesus. It is the peak of the evolutionary consciousness in the human realm.

All levels (which could be classed as vibration levels) below 200 are said to be energy draining, and below integrity. These vary from Guilt (30), Grief (75), Fear (100) up to Pride (175).

People feel positive as they reach Pride level. However Pride feels good only in contrast to the lower levels. Pride is defensive and vulnerable because it’s dependent upon external conditions, without which is can suddenly revert to a lower level.

At the 200 level, power first appears. Courage (200) is the zone of exploration, accomplishment, fortitude, and determination. People at this level put back into the world as much energy as they take; at the lower levels, populations as well as individuals drain energy from society without reciprocating.

Further levels include willingness (310), Acceptance (350) and Love (500).

This level is characterized by the development of a Love that is unconditional, unchanging, and permanent. It doesn’t fluctuate – its source isn’t dependent on external factors. Loving is a state of being. This is the level of true happiness.

The Conversation Has Already StartedThis article is my personal  review of Simon U Ford’s new book Social Traffic - Event Marketing In A New Media Scape which is  launched later this week.

I consider myself as one of the first privileged few people to get to read the whole book so I will attempt to be as honest as I can.  My opinions are somewhat biased since I freely admit I have been converted to a raving fan.

A Good Introduction

I first heard about Social Traffic while  I was in a huge and massive learning Phase about how to best get things Really Happening Online, Then I bumped into Simon on Plaxo and he sent me a personal invitation to join his new group in a way that made me take notice.  We quickly became friends when we realized  that both of us  understood the essence of conversational marketing and wanted to share this with a much wider audience and I really like what Simon was able to impart to me in only a few minutes online via my very favourite tool SKYPE. Simon also had much bigger plans which soon became apparent as he revealed his visions for the future.

Just So Easy To Read And Not A Wasted Word

Still being an Online Novice I spent Loads of Time Clicking all of the Links and learning incredible amounts as I went What Possibilities, What Resources! Let Just say this his book is very clear and well written, any of you who have been exposed to his writing style will  know he is a master wordsmith. Its 145 pages long so I know that you are a master of Speed Reading will it all in an afternoon.

Social Media Strategy-Simon Ford Style

After Simon sets the stage with an overview of the rapid changes in our media landscape and where he believes it is heading, he introduces event marketing and places it in a modern online context.  He emphasizes the importance of  Facebook, Twitter and Online Video. And gives a thorough introduction to the basic elements of each platform and their respective potentials. Simon’s book because of space reasons has omitted much of the practical strategies and technical details but still shows an expert  understanding of how these platforms need to be used in combination all linking into each other and creating an integrated syndicated network.

Article Marketing

Simon then shares his own article marketing techniques, explaining the linking structures he uses to build his web presence to dominate a broad range of keywords that then circulate link juice and traffic to his blogs and website. Now I gotta tell you I am still Getting to grips with these things And Do believe that if Me At 60yrs can grasp even 60% of these things in just a few days what Do YOU think You Can do??

Email Marketing

For me the best part of the book is the way Simon focuses on the importance of building relationships with your customers. He explains in a simple and concise way how you can automate this process and segment your email lists and structure your marketing campaigns And Boy Do I need That!  Simon is one of those people who loves to test and track so you can be guaranteed that his results are based on hard facts not Just A best guess. He reveals his expertise at email marketing and managing multiple auto responder  lists and gives you models you can duplicate. Holding the right conversation with the right people at the right time is the key to his success and the beauty of it all is once everything is set up  it can run on autopilot sending targeted people into your sales funnel.

Launching An Event

The final section of the book goes into detail the steps you need to launch an event, while Simon focuses on physical events like parties and social gatherings, the same principles can be applied to launching any product or service. He explains how to get your customers to become the evangelist [FANS] for your product so all the selling gets done by your fans and loyal supporters. He gives a step by step sequence that you can use to build revolving door marketing campaigns so you can maximise your returns.

Is It Value For Money?

Well from My Own Experience to date most marketing gurus who launch a low priced info product or ebook only give incomplete and partial information and quite frankly I find their products are little more than thinly disguised sales pitches for a higher priced product.

AN Over Delivery

This book is different, Simon shares all his resources and information generously,   explaining the services he uses to build and maintain his organization and how you can duplicate the same systems in your business. You will probably not get past the first 10 -15 pages before you are off clicking the links just like I did and visiting some of these little know websites he recommends.  Like 5 different types of mind mapping software you can get on the internet or the services you need to subscribe to enabling you to  link and syndicate all your social networking profiles together so with one email you can send information to a whole range of platforms. At $47 this book is a steal. I already know Simon has deliberately undervalued it and will almost certainly be raising the price in the future.

To Uncover The Acres Of Diamonds Hidden Within It’s Pages

I would strongly Advise that you set aside several hours to do it full justice, I guarantee it will be time well spent. Don’t make the mistake of getting it and then letting it gather dust on your hard disc..Even better still Print it out as I did and take it with one of your favourite beverages and sit in your garden or other favoured spot and do it justice. The later sections are packed with valuable and highly usable today gems.
